Teams and Station Sponsors Sought for Together We Grow Agri-Shoot Benefiting Student Scholarships

The Together We Grow Foundation is looking for four-person shooting teams and station sponsors for its annual Agri-Shoot fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 18, at Selwood Farm in Alpine, Alabama.

The event brings together members of the agricultural community for a day of sporting clays, conversation and support for students pursuing careers in agriculture, business and related fields.

A Day of Friendly Competition and Community

Participants will begin the morning with breakfast before heading out to Selwood Farm’s sporting clays course. Lunch will follow the shoot, giving teams and sponsors time to relax, visit and connect with others from across the agricultural community.

Businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to register a team, sponsor a station or do both. Teams offer colleagues, customers and friends an opportunity to spend the day together, while station sponsors receive recognition along the course and can visit with participants as they move from station to station.

Supporting the Next Generation of Agricultural Leaders

Proceeds from the Agri-Shoot fund scholarships for college students studying agriculture, business and related fields.

Last year, the event raised more than $30,000 and helped the Together We Grow Foundation award 11 scholarships to students from across North Alabama. Those students represent the next generation of producers, lenders, agribusiness professionals and community leaders.

Every team registration, sponsorship and donation helps make higher education more accessible for students who plan to serve Alabama’s agricultural and rural communities.

Registration and Sponsorship Options

Several participation options are available:

Four-person shooting team — $850
Register a group of colleagues, customers or friends for a full day on the course.

Station sponsorship — $450
Receive recognition at a shooting station and connect with teams throughout the event.

Team and station sponsorship package — $1,250
Register a four-person team and sponsor a station at a combined rate.

Other Ways to Help

Those who cannot attend can still support the event through in-kind donations, prize contributions and additional sponsorship opportunities.

Donated raffle items, awards and support for event expenses can help increase the amount available for student scholarships. Businesses and individuals interested in a customized sponsorship or another way to contribute can contact the foundation for more information.

About the Together We Grow Foundation

The Together We Grow Foundation is the nonprofit organization of Alabama Farm Credit. It was established after members of Alabama Farm Credit’s Young Farmers Advisory Committee identified a need for more scholarship opportunities for students interested in agriculture and related careers.

Through events such as the Agri-Shoot, the foundation raises funds that directly support students across North Alabama.
